as a boxer wearer since early high school,in the early 70s when it seemed 90% of guys in my school wore tight white briefs, I could say the same thing to guys that wear briefs.. how do you guys do it?! how can you stand to have your balls cramped and squeezed all day, your dick wrapped and tucked and smashed, both getting all sweaty and hidden as if they didnt exist.
for me my balls hanging is the most natural feeling in the world. and i might add, the way nature intended for them to be.

I guess it is what you get used to. When I was growing up most guys (except older guys and nerds) wore briefs. And we also wore jockstraps when we did sports of any kind. I think I got used to that feel, that sense of security that tighter underwear provides.

I'm with ya, buddy! It appears LOTS of guys like boxers,but I really love thefuckin POUCH in my briefs. It's not uncomfortable at all; feels really great to have my cock and balls supported that way, plus boxers are lame under jeans, pants, etc. Who the fuck wants all that trouble--stuffing the legs of your boxers down the legs of your pants.

I saw a guy a few months ago in the locker room strip to his boxers and then pull on tight UA compression shorts OVER his boxers, which he then spent about 5 min adjusting, pushing the boxers' legs down the comp shorts' legs, etc. As lame as a towel dance.

for me, as a boy in the 60's and a teen up to 1976, that is all we knew. for me boxershorts only started to become popular in the uk around 1986. then i went and bought some and the rest is history. so from being say, 5 to 30 years old it was underpants all the way. i do remember being the first one in our class to have some of the ''new'' coloured underpants, i remember my mam buying me some. a 3 pack - 1-white, 1-blue, 1-black. from my sisters marshall ward catalogue, that would be around 1970.
and yes, i got some stick from the other kid's, as they ware still in white ''y'' front's or those string-part see through ones that was out at the time.

I know the culture says it'd be weird to hang out in your briefs with the guys, rather than in boxers. But that whole scene is "homosocial," meaning it's guys hangin' out with bros. This is strangely true. Guys (gay or straight) will hang out together in boxers but not in briefs. I guess briefs are too much like underwear and reveal too much in terms of bulge. Doesn't matter that sitting in lose boxers can reveal a stray nut - or more! :tongue:

I prefer briefs over boxers but I would hang out and walk around in boxers before I ever do so in briefs. The only person I hang out and around in my briefs is my wife.

It really depends on my mood or the weather. Boxers are great in hot weather because it helps cool things off. I usually wear trunk style boxer briefs at other times, just because I like everything in place. This is, of course, when I do wear underwear...

I'm baffled how boxers exceed briefs in any circumstance. Why too much fabric moving around and having to adjust. Plus all that fabric does not feel great pressed up against your junk. The fabric is constantly bunched up on the left or on the right or somewhere you don't want it. With briefs or boxer-briefs there is zero adjusting needed. Boxers are like you're wearing a pair of shorts underneath your pants. WTF?

Variety is the spice of life. I wear them all and sometimes none. Commando is my favorite. Boxers at work, boxer briefs at the gym, and none whenever the mood strikes.

With briefs or boxer-briefs there is zero adjusting needed.

It doesn't work that way for me when I wear long pants to work. I either adjust my boxers or adjust my dick (when I wear briefs).

I can easily pull the legs down on my boxers every few hours when I go to the mens room, and do a fresh tuck on my shirt. I never have to adjust my dick as there is always plenty of room.

I wore a fitted pair of Levis cords to work yesterday. They look really hot on me, and I thought that I'd wear briefs for a change. Throughout the day, I was aware of my dick being squished in the crotch of the briefs, and adjusted when necessary to keep junior happy.

Outside of work, I wear gym shorts all the time. I never have problems with boxers bunching or riding up with gym shorts; only with long pants. For me, the small inconvenience of adjusting the boxers every few hours at work is a way better tradeoff than having my goods confined all day.
