Is one going to have to have watched the earlier movies to understand what’s going on in this one, I don’t know if I can invest that much to see it just for Brandon. And I see the Transwomen actress from Sense8 is in this as the pin person. Have they always had a trans actor in the role, or is that new? Is it going to be a significant element to the plot?

Nope. This is a retelling so you’re good. Original one is still worth a watch though.

In the short video clip I posted earlier, he said he had just finished his show (13 RW) and was in active addiction so I assume his story was about what happened after 13 RW finished, getting clean & sober and the pandemic. That's my guess from the only10 second clip we have. The stage show is called The Tell and the have a podcast so it may get released on that.
