Bravo's Below Deck

Yes. Sailing, season 3. He's also a great chef.

I find Colin to be sexy as well. There's something to be said for nice guys.
Not that I have the $$, but watching these shows(especially BDS) makes me never want to book a super yacht. all the employees smoke like prison inmates and look like they smell of garlic and body odor. Colin is nice but looks super greasy. Gary looks like the dirtiest person on any reality show.

Omg yes idk what these girls see in him he looks like a baboon and he looks like he smells like armpits and cigarettes!

Well, I was dismissive of your post (no offence but it seemed full cray), but I didn't mean to be shady towards Jamie. I think he was sensitive because of his terrible day, and Aesha and Brittini didn't realise that. if they did they might have been more considerate. I don't see what your problem is with that.

No idea, but that doesn't sound like a very nice thing to do.
The Bitch calling happened on two different occasions and anyone has the right to assert how they like to be addressed. It doesn't matter how friendly she seems to be calling him that. He didn't like it. It's the same as a man not wanting to be referred to as "Gurl" or "Mate" it's completely up to them and not other people. He didn't like something, he addressed with a reasonable response. As he pointed out in the last ep he is her boss and that adds another layer to him telling her how to speak to him and how not ot, which shouldn't be needed. The whole pile up a couple days later pushed the issue and showed how disrespectful those two girls can be toward people.

You're actually on a site where people leak things all the time, which you yourself actually participate in daily. A bit hypocritcal.
There is clearly some serious deep down misogynistic issues with Jamey. He was super reactive the first time Brittini called him a bitch in a playful way. The girls jumped on it due to his inappropriate reaction. Had he spoken to Brittini like an adult and asked her politely not to use that word it would have been over. Plus he loses all creditability when he later calls them bitches multiple times(in a very non-playful way). Jamey is a horrible supervisor. He has no clue how to speak to, or motivate people. It's just a power trip. Probably his military time and police tenure has left him in this place.
Misogynistic in what way? He doesn't treat Brittini any differently then the guys and has shown nothing but respect for her , which she hasn't returned. It amazes me how people thinking because something is done playfully it's ok. How exactly was his reaction inappropriate? He didn't yell or scream. He didn't make her do extra work or demeaning work as punishment. He clearly and calmly said don't call me that ever again. Period.

Right! I had an "I'm old" moment when I heard someone say "Everyone loves Johnny Depp because they remember him from their childhood as Jack Sparrow" I'm like what? I remember him from my childhood as the guy from 21 Jump Street.
Childhood? That's a 2012 movie. Sleepy Hollow or Edward Scissorhands. Those are his childhood movies :)

I think Jamie is hot as fuck! I listen to his podcast and he mentioned it and he is a really cool guy. He was a cop and so was members in his family and I am sure in his mind it's disrespectful. You definitely wouldn't call your boss or someone with more authority than you a bitch and not expect something to be said back. He said he didn't like it and it should have ended there

Very true! Yeah he’s so sexy! I feel bad for him on the show he tries really hard! I hope we see him again on the next I love this cast! I also need to catch up on his chat about each episode on IG

Can we just get back to ogling the hot guys please? If I wanted to sit through a two-page discussion of Jamie calling people bitches/being offended by being called a bitch/generally being a bitch, I'd go to the subreddit.
I can’t get over Culver’s big swinging dick!

I personally loved the way Jason handled the bitch incident, in that he's the first captain in the history of the franchise to say that the rules have to apply to both genders, and he addressed it accordingly.

Whereas I felt that way last season when nothing happening on the show was being discussed in the thread, and all posts were about fucking Jake and photos of his ass. It's a reality show, drama is its product and I think there's room for both discussion and photos of beautiful men.

Yep, it's not like I've disagreed, so why are you repeating yourself?

He mansplains to all the women. He showed no respect when screaming at her when she moved over the anchor chain the wrong way. He has no clue how to handle the difficult situation with Ben's work. Capt Jason clearly learned from interviewing the other deck crew Jamie has very poor management skills and that's why he didn't fire Ben when Jamie pretty much insisted on it. His response when Brittani in joking fun said "whatever bitch" or something of that nature was the opposite of calm. He looked like the veins were going to pop out of his neck and lasers were about to shoot out of his eyes. Way overboard. Yachties are a tough bunch. Teasing and poking fun at each other is common. The guys would have teased him much worse if he had overreacted to them calling him a name. When he's bitching to Colin he calls the women bitches multiple times in a 100% demeaning, misogynistic way. He also talks to the stews same way. Tumi has mentioned it in her confessionals. Capt. Jason had to hold back from laughing at him when he whined about the "bitch calling" to him. Jamie is a head case.

Your take on the incident is so extreme it's both astonishing and amusing. When the incident happened iniatially, he barely glanced at Brittini and shut it down. She then went and told Aisha about it and Aisha decided to join in and instigate a situation around what happened and then wrangling Magda into it. It was a pile on and it continued to esculate a simple situation into something greater. That's how insidious the disrespect was and it was created by Brittini being embarrassed about crossing the line with her boss.

Jaime showed that he cared when Brittini hopped over that chain, because she could've gotten tangled in there and seruiously hurt herself. That wasn't misogyny, that was someone looking out for his crew and a subordinate. In the heat of the moment he wasn't mansplaining he was being upfront and to the point. If she knew her job, she wouldn't have made the mistake that could've ended up with her being really hurt.

Since, this concept seems to allude you and this is not going anywhere for your lack of understanding I'll just leave this here.

Disagreeing isn't a lack of understanding. Insult away.

To be fair, Jamie is a bitch. It's 100% fine to tell someone you don't want to be called (whatever) but then to go and call them bitches behind their backs more than once is a bitch ass move.

Then to complain to captain. Not to mention he goes on and on and on about saving lives but the one charter there is a guy almost drowning he A) didn't make the guy wear a life vest because "they said they could swim" and B) was so far from the boat the show made it look like he was a hero diving off the boat but the charter guest who almost drowned went on reddit and said that actually Jamie didn't even swim over until after his friend had saved him and she was also a lifeguard. Jamie was WAYS off from where he was.

Not gonna link to Reddit but you can find it under the Below Deck thread. Jamie is uh...not worth it.
