I feel like it had more to do with not getting the official write up from Sandy that would have left a harsher mark on his record.
She still put that in his file. There was no mention of her not doing that since he left. All he talked about was not being forgiven. If there was a choice between him staying and having the write-up or hos leaving and not having it, I would understand. But, there was no mention of that whatsoever.
