Malia demanded that every single person switch their rooms so she and her boyfriend could share a cabin, and when she didn't get her way she threw a temper tantrum. Then she goes to Captain Sandy because she knew she'd get her way. And if that wasn't enough, then she snooped through Hannah's purse and took a picture of her legal CBD and prescription medicine and send it to the captain. This was all under the guise of "duty" even though she's known for some time that Hannah takes valium. And there's also the fact that she made light of Hannah's mental illness when she referred to her panic attack as "freaking out."

You are assuming that she had a prescription and ignore the rules regarding drug use while employed. Drinking while on charted is also not allowed.
Get rid of Hannah....she's a 'germ carrier' and a cancer on the whole operation. Don't know why Captain Sandy puts up with her.....maybe she wants to bang her....lol
Don't forget she threw her entire crew under the bus and had their balls removed by Sandy, because one member called her sweetheart.
What I didn't get with the room situation was Malia didn't have to go to Captain Sandy. Hannah could have bunked with Pete and Bugsy bunked with Alex. Since Hannah and Bugsy don't get along, Bugsy doesn't get along with Pete, Bugsy and Alex flirt a little so it seemed like a doable room change without it being complicated.
She did have a prescription. She posted the photos of it. She’s very candid about it.
Moral of the story is that NO ONE should have to move rooms because someone’s boyfriend came on the ship 2 weeks before the season is over. Multiple past Below Deck cast mates even chimed in stating that they “would never ask to do that”. Also, the chef is NOT above the Chief Stewardess. Captain Lee even pointed this out. IF anything they are equals, and even on some gig yachts, the chef is below the chief stew. And the bosun is not above the chief stew either. So really Hannah had all the right to say no.
Malia is just a power hungry immature little girl.

It's kind of a grey area. By departmental ranking, the Chef is equally ranked to the Purser and the Chief Stew reports to the Purser. Because there isn't a Purser on this size vessel, the Chef and Chief Stew are fairly equal although Ben was not wrong when he told Adrienne in season one, "technically, I outrank you." Bosun and Chief Stew are of equal rank, however Hannah is three stripe to Malia's two, and considering the galley is Hannah's department, Sandy pulled her usual uber bitch with capital C handling the situation as she did and throwing Hannah under the bus for all the crew to hear.

Not disagreeing, but it is a bullshit gig on a bullshit show in that the network exploits the Hell out of these people and they see none of the advertising millions that the network makes on the show. I don't think it was coincidence that the scene between him and Bugsy that was escalated to the captain aired the same week that his instagram post, for it pulled focus away from everyone else on the show.
I also think in the battle the systemic misogamy and placate to the predominant female audience, the show has taken a misandry turn and Pete's post was a middle finger up to that.
