I don't think anyone actually came for him, though. he vanished and then everyone had to go looking for why.

I agree, Bravo handled it well. It would have been a nightmare for them to work around his character.

It was more like Bravo was covering their own ass when they made the decision to edit him out, for casting a perverse misogynism the same season they cast their first female bosun didn't happen by accident. It was a decision made by the showrunner and Bravo management was complicit at allowing to go on and on, until it finally blew up in their face.

He was edited out because of the social media post - it's context and purpose - in addition to the network being aware that it has investors and business sponsors who buy advertising time.
No corporate entity would support Pete's bs. Too bad for him.
He likely would not have been edited out and fired for being a complete misogynist to his boss.

I thought it was odd that Jake and the one guest's son had that one scene together, I was hoping they'd start something between them. However, I don't think that would work out too well for Jake. The one guest's son (I guess named Todd) played college baseball and had a HOT body!
