Chefs pride themselves on being assholes and there's really no other profession, (with the exception of maybe politics), where it's considered accepted, and they're allowed to get away with it. I knew an executive chef/restaurant owner who was anti-vegetarian and would always slip beef stock into their meals when they came into his restaurant, so Adam's onion incident reminded me of him.

Be careful if you try to get anything from James. I was scammed by him last September. I have a foot fetish and a friend of mine has a fake woman’s IG account that he uses to ask guys for feet pics. James said he’d send pics for $180, so we sent the money, but James never sent anything back. Whenever we’d ask for the pics, James would just say he didn’t have time and would do it later. Then eventually he just stopped responding. He seemed like a douche on the show, so I can’t say him scamming is surprising. But anyways, just wanted to warn people to be careful with him.
