When that covid hit they where doing a vegas hotel video I believe. I know it was a hotel and the had the masked mandate going on. Well Mason thought it would be funny to make a seen and do the whole I'm not wearing a mask. So it messed up what ever skit brent had planned and land mason in jail. He was in like maybe 2 after that but looks like brent cut him lose.

I don't know if Mason was trying to make a scene, I think he just was not into masking rules. Brent and Mason go way back, they were school friends. It's not like some of the newer people. Mason and Brent have a long personal relationship that probably has ups and downs.
Well for going way back it still seems mason did him dirty and now it looks like hes out a job.

Mason wasn't in the squad anyway at this point, and he's been in some videos since then, I think. A lot of people sympathized with Mason in that incident since the whole squad left him in jail all night and didn't go there or anything. I don't know the details so I don't have an opinion, just think there must be two sides.
I haven't heard anybody sympathizing with him must people seem to not care about. I feel bad for brent thinking he had someone to do this skit with paying for mason ticket getting down there then have mason pull something like that.

He did a video about why he wasn't in squad videos any more, told about what happened in Vegas. There were hundreds of comments under the video saying they weren't good friends to leave him in jail overnight and not see how he was doing, or whatever. He didn't blame them, he never says anything bad about them. Anyhow the thread isn't about Mason.
it wasn't a skit, they were all there to hang out and he's still best friends with Brent, they just don't make videos together anymore, though he has been in a few since getting removed
