Max Riemelt (Wolfgang) and Toby Onwumere (Capheus 2.0) are in it as well

Zakia too!

It's perfectly reasonable considering it is one of the Wachowski's directing the new Matrix movie. They called on people they knew and would do what they wanted. I look forward to getting to see it.

Freema Agyeman (Amanita) was also in the red carpet, so i guess she has a role in Matrix as well.

Or she's still on really friendly terms with the Wachowskis. Not everyone on a red carpet for a premiere is part of a cast for that project.

Freema's scenes took place in a completely different aspect of Neo's life so while I was happy to see her, it was sad that she wouldn't have shot with anyone else from the Sense8 cast because of it. (I'm guessing her being on the long running, "New Amsterdam" limited her time anyway.)

I liked that they implied that Brian's character in The Matrix Resurrections is gay. Shame we couldn't get more from him.
