i was on the fone with my buddy and asked him in a jocular fashion "u rdy to go on our brodate?" he said "yea". made me smile.

he acts like a homophobic asshole, and i would say is 100% straight, but still has the confidence of a PRO.

our brodate consisted of dr0, going out 2 eat, jackass 3d, then pussyfooting around when we got back to my place

anyone else have non-sexual brodates?

I had one recently. We got food first. Then we went to the park and blew the dro, laughed our asses off and confessed and such. Then we watched movies, hit the dro again...more:biggrin1:, and slyly threw each other bedroom eyes for a while. We parted ways close to sunrise. We kicked it all day:smile:. It was hot.

We had fun:tongue:

I have them all the time. My friend treats me to dinner, movie, conversation, and just sitting around my house or in my car at a park. He then takes me home. I reciprocate.

This brodate tonight: totally sucked! He let go of his representative far too quickly (and I liked the rep; he was so hot). All of the sexiness left the building. None of the jokes were funny and whatever was there, isn't anymore.

Woosah...

i considered it a brodate when i asked him, "hey wanna go on a brodate?" lol

i meant pussyfooting around as in we had to part ways but didnt really wanna stop hanging out.. so we just stood outside my place and kept talking, staring at our feet a lot.. lol

Not to derail the thread or anything, but I'd just like to take this opportunity to state I hate the term "bro" with a passion. I associate with those frat guy-type douchebags who wear polo shirts with popped collars and backward baseball caps and subsist solely on a diet of shitty take-out Mexican food and Natty Ice.

/tangential rant

Bro, dude, bruh...or however you choose to say it. It seems far less offensive that some other connotations that I have heard for men/males.

Don't fret though. Most twentysomethings hate something out of life. You're lucky that it's only a 3-letter word that grinds your gears;). Some of us hate the people that we're in relationships with or our jobs. You're still ahead of the game hating a shortened version of the word=)

So, everyone, please continue with your brodate stories--good or bad. I find those stories interesting. I hope that this hasn't been thrown off track.

This is what bro makes me think of. VG Cats - I can't believe it's not Updated

I understand where Zeuhl is coming from, though I don't really hate the term bro, I just don't like it when guys call me bro, especially when someone I don't really know calls me that (happens a lot on lpsg). I do love terms that are bro+another word, except for bromance. BROSEIDON, god of the brocean.
