button fly on 501s are the way to go if you want to display your equipment. It's something about the cut of skintight Levi 501s that forces a cock bulge. There's another reason why buttons work better on 501s. These jeans are shrink to fit, and if you buy them with a zipper, the zipper does not shrink when they're washed. Button holes do adjust as your Levi 501s get tighter and tighter, so a zipper creates obvious problems in appearance
