I will say that he does work for some problematic websites, websites that promote homo inferiority, non homo superiority, gay sexuality insecurities and “straight” worship. And he has worked with some performers who have done and/or said some shitty stuff. But honestly, these things and people are so rampant in the porn industry. Almost every porn performer should be judged on a “curve”, because no one is gonna do porn unless they’re willing to give up some integrity, are willing to overlook some problematic shit and are willing to indulge some manipulation. Like I said, he comes off like a decent dude and is a bit refreshing in comparison to about 80% of these guys in porn.
The less I know, the better. I’m not trying to make relationships with these guys. I’m trying to enjoy their bodies and fantasize about how they’d make me physically feel.

I'll also say that I've read online that Calhoun had an criminal record that included burglary or theft. So I did a search using his (supposedly) real name and I did find a record - but it was for a different person with the same name.
But I have seen similar situations before where accounts that are very popular are shut down for terms of service violation - which could mean anything.
I'm a huge fan of his and find him quite likable - aside from being hot as hell. A lot of these dudes lie about their dimensions, but I tend to believe what he’s saying because perhaps most of these porn performers/sex workers contend with fluidity, contradictions, fetishes, paraphiliacs, hyper-sexuality. (Also, remember that someone perceived as “gay”, like George Michael, spent the 80s hooking up with tons of women. It got so extreme that he went to therapy about it). There are plenty of guys in “straight” porn who are getting it on with dudes off camera. Some are even overall homo-leaning or are in same-sex relationships. Just like there’s many guys in “gay” porn that are unabashedly into women or even “straight” identifying. Dudes who are in “straight” can never be unabashedly “queer” and apologetically. There’s a lot of hypocrisy, double standards, internalized phobias, “straight” worship and homo shaming that the porn industry promotes both on the “straight” and “gay” sides.
You always have to remember that sexuality is a very individual thing. That the gender, romantic, sexual, affection, emotional investment, commitment spectrum is wide and varied. That everyone has their own dimensions, struggles and journeys. And that a lot of these people are mostly driven by ego and money. While many of them have some severe mental health issues and/of addiction problems. Remembering this stuff will keep you from taking the industry or these people that seriously.

I still subscribe to a couple gay porn sites and I enjoy doing it. I don't mind paying for good content. I'm not aware of any studios that have folded lately due to lack of income.
Sexual identity plays a large factor for lots of people in terms of how much they enjoy gay porn. Some people only want to see gay guys because they want to be reassured that there is a real chance these people would be attracted to each other IRL and that subsequently causes them to enjoy it. Conversely, some guys enjoy seeing straight guys in gay action because they enjoy the thought of a guy who previously thought he would never do something like that expand his boundaries. Personally, I enjoy both. What they identify as won't affect whether I like them or not, but I do get curious about it as I like to know what I'm watching.
This might not be want you want to hear, but I think once models agree to work for a studio, there isn't a whole heck of a lot they won't do. The webmaster(s) propose a storyline or a sexual identity and the model goes along with it. Calhoun is hardly in the minority there. A lot of what you see in porn (whether gay or straight) are people playing a part. It's not uncommon to see guys in scenes claiming to have never experienced a certain sexual activity, when they've done work for other studios and we know that they have. Most of the blame for that can be laid at the webmasters door. How many trash sites exist out there where the models are degraded? Lots. These models are people who sacrifice a great deal for the companies they work for and many are subsequently treated like expendable garbage. It's horrible. But some people are in the industry because they have sick relatives in the hospital or grew up poor. I'm not gonna judge.
