From what I read then, foreskin length is never an issue. Only a tight one or a tight/short frenulum.
I currently stretch my foreskin, but only forwards. I like that its natural state is to full forward and cover everything, but I have noticed that when erect I can retract it less behind the head each month that I stretch.

Stretching in the other direction.
In other words, pulling my foreskin back over my dick to stretch the frenulum more.

Look into a DTR - it uses a push plate to push inward. The push plate is notched for your fren and it uses elastic bands for pressure
