I had exactly the same opinion until I was trained to do it. There are special injection techniques used for what is called an "intracavernosal" injection and it can be painful if you screw it up. The main thing is that the needle must be placed correctly and it needs to penetrate into the cavernosa (erectile chamber) and not go completely through into other tissues. Once the injection is completed depending on your sensitivity the injection process starts within a few minutes.

What I love about it is the adjustability in the right circumstances.

If I plan on a lovemaking session of longer duration I can adjust accordingly and because of the high stimulation level you can if you are physically able go directly from one ejaculation on to a second or third one. The erection does not wilt immediately after. The injectable more or less cancels out what the bolus of prolactin creates.

Nobody would agree more on what it sounds like, but the reality and the mental thoughts our imagination conjures up fortunately for those bothered by E.D. are two different things. . . . .

hey all, watch out for quad and penta mix, they can be $$$crazy expensive and insurance does not cover them. Also, I got dry eyes and cotton mouth from the atropine that was added. Trimix is the most cost effective if your insurance does not cover caverject. Adjust each of the components (trimix) till you find what works best for you. Tri-Quad-Penta all need refrigeration, and yes the latest caverject has a stabilizer added so you dont need to refrigerate it. (travel with it and use on demand!!!!!)
Insurance plans vary (I am obsessed with insurance coverage) some cover it and some dont, co-pays are all over the place for caverject viagra etc. shop your coverage at the end of the year when elections for plans come up. I go thru this every year to see which plan works best for me. (lucky i got several plans to choose from with a big corporate company)
Caverject is back in vial form and no premix (this is the market of Edex)
simple but the prefixed needle is a 27 or 28 gauge. That almost guarantees scarring. As for injection fear/pain/anxiety, injecting the penis is less painful than injecting steroids. Steroid needles are 18-25 gauge. 18 is thicker than the needle used to draw blood samples/donations. and you need to self stick yourself in the butt 2" deep and try to force out the oil. ED meds use a 29-31 gauge needle
smaller than a fine sewing needle or as thick as a acupuncture needle.
I might not have a monster cock like most everyone here, but I can hang my bath towel off of my caverject powered cock for 3+ hours. now that is some fucking power!

Sometimes but not often. I inject three times a week and maybe I bleed once every other month and get a bruise once or twice a year. It depends if you hit a blood vessel with the syringe tip or not. There is little if any pain; you inject near the base of the penis and there's no sensation there.

Thanks, I was too lazy to cross reference the names. They are the same.

I was given a prescription recently from my urologist. I didn't notice the different name until now. I was familiar with the name Trimix, and my prescription reads "Triple Mix".

Prostaglandin = alprostadil

Regitine = Phentolamine

Papaverine is the same in both.

Side Note: this stuff works too well for me.
