changes to board

Uh, dear, how much time have you been able to invest to come up with that conclusion? :biggrin1:

So far, I've only seen a couple of minor cosmetic changes...

Edit: Wow, three beat me to it in the short time it took me to type my response... this was addressed to Dragonfly!

The front page seems bigger. I like it. It has a wide screen look to it. Some kind of visitor page in our profiles. Very interesting. Give it a chance.

Because the latest threads, latest posts, latest blogs are missing on the right side.

everything is great except for one thing.......the new thread box thingie.....that shows alll of the new threads started.....please bring it back

I don't like the profile page changes, either.

As for other changes, such as topic icons, users online... they were here before but were taken away by the last update. Not sure why someone wouldn't like the old features returning.

As stated in this thread, the (un)availability of some features and functions is only temporary.

I see one new feature that tells you how many replies you have in a thread.

OOh heck!

Where did all my buddies go?!?!

I've lost them! :frown1:

I'm going to bed..... can't work this out now, too tired....
I am usually one for embracing change and I accept it'sa work in progress but please can I have my mates back?!?!

I know im not a gold member so my comments dont really matter. But I HATE what they did.You can nolonger see the other threads etc.Doesnt have a flow anylonger.Dont know if im coming back.Jason.

 No, no, no, no and NO! Do not think about not coming back = you will be missed!

Ditto! :12:

I have never adjusted well to change; especially change I didn't initiate. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but right now the site is visually distressing for me. I'm not sure why, as it's still black, white, and gray; but I'm not liking it.

Agreed. The new layouts are horrid and laborious.

Newsflash from five years ago, sysops: UI improvements involve simplification of access to the most important functions. If you're adding clicks or steps to get to things we're accustomed to seeing at a glance, you're going the wrong direction.

I have yet to see anything that has been improved.

You can change the color scheme in windows. I have mine set at High contrast Black. I see everything with a black background and bright colors. No more plain white and grey for me.
