Charles manso dead, finally...

Do you know how much it costs to execute a person? No matter what we do with these criminals we have to fund the process. Don't let it grind your gears, (the idea that our tax dollars go towards housing inmates) it's just part of society.

The better side of me wants to avoid celebrating the death of a human being. The fucked up side of me is wishing I could have had my own time with a few pyrex baking dishes and his face/genitals to give him what he deserved.

All in all, I'm happy he just spent his last days locked up. No one had to be the one to take his life. No one else suffered at his hand. I'm ok with that.

God less ya, my dear. All brings tears to my eyes. Watched all on the b&w TV as a child. So horrible.

I wasn't alive yet for his heinous acts, but coming up on my 30th on my next birthday. I remember a whole lot of horrible people doing a lot of horrible things.

In fact, for quite some time I researched crimes like this because I wanted to be the one to hunt those fuckers down. My own family has been touched by murder. I came to realize I would likely end up going all Detective Stabler from Law & Order SVU.

I think a cheers is in order for those who have it in them to hunt these monsters.

Thanks for your reply. I very much respect your views and opinions. Moreover I've never encountered what you have and hope that I never do. I can tell you're a strong person and that many draw/lean on that. Impressed by you.

From childhood , i was taught not to rejoice at the death of a human being , and I am a man who cried like a baby when both my dog & my cat died . Over the years , my attitude to my fellow human beings has hardened to the point where ; 1) i have zero mercy for violent crime of any kind , 2) thieves , 3) rapists , pederasts , etc , etc . They can all thank God ( or whoever ) that it's not me that determines their fate . Charles Manson ? Gutless , murdering coward . Piece of shit , am I glad ? You bet your ass I'm glad .

I saw where a lot of people thought that. it was Marylin Manson that died and not Charles Manson. They were saying things like how sad they were and RIP not having a CLUE who it really was.

Can't fault nor be glad of MM dying. He's merely a musician odd one at that. Charles Manson, well, here's hoping the devil is just as repulsed at him, and either kicks him out or turns him into a day old fly.

I was a child when his gang did their horrible deeds. It’s hard to describe the terror they evoked upon a decade. The families of the victims I continue to think about over the years. They have had to fight to keep these people in prison over and over... forced to relive such tragedy. I still can’t believe some of them are out. I hope with his death they can find some peace of mind. It always seems terrible to be in a place where you wish others ill will, but these were no ordinary people. They should have all been executed years ago.

I was intrigued by the sole survivor of the Sharon Tate murders, guest house sitter William Garretson.
He was a 19 year old drifter from Ohio who hung out on the Sunset Strip. He was picked up while
hitchhiking by talent agent and property owner Rudi Altobelli. Altobelli, a small effeminate gay man,
rented the large house on the property to director Roman Polanski and his wife actress Sharon Tate. Altobelli lived in the guest house. He was so impressed with the amazingly endowed Garretson that he had him move in. He was described
in the news as the caretaker but that was not the case. He balled Altobelli, fed the dogs, worked on his tan, and house sat guest while Altobelli was conducting business and traveling. The killers didn't enter the guest house the night of the murders
where Garretson was relaxing. Altobelli was in Europe and a friend of Garretson's, Steve Parent, dropped
by to visit the night of the murders. Parent left and was stopped by the killers when he was about to drive through the gate and was shot to death. Garretson was arrested when the bodies were discovered and jailed briefly as a possible suspect but was released.

Nowadays, it'd be more like Hank Voight from CHICAGO PD, who wouldn't think Twice about using his prison connections and have that old bastard shanked or set ablaze in the Gen Pop courtyard there, T&J.

Jesus fucking christ, man.

Fun fact:
Charles Manson never actually killed anybody.
It's true. Look it up.
He probably told people to do it.... But, he didn't do any of it.
Also, some of the folks he allegedly told to do these things had college educations.
Nobody was being held at gunpoint to do these things, either.
Manson was undeniably a career criminal.
And, there really wasn't much to indicate he was going to walk the straight and narrow anytime soon.
To be clear, I'm not a fan or supporter of the man or his crew.
But, to go on about what a monster he was, etc, & how he should've suffered,....
A bit myopic.
Just my two cents
