Yes. The other day I almost commented on a (not gym-related) influencer who posted about his “fitness journey.” He posted a before pic with a caption about how he was always very skinny and could never gain weight. I wanted to say “no, this isn’t skinny, this is what a normal, very fit human body looks like before consuming unnatural amounts of protein and/or PEDs.”Social media has really distorted what is naturally obtainable for an everyday gym goer. And given the variation in influencers using SARMs, test, 'roids (in the old school sense), it really makes it difficult for people to have a good understanding of natural v enhanced physiques.
Couple that with those same influencers or fans of influencer claiming others aren't working hard enough or don't have the right genetics, it just setups a cycle of people abusing gear.
but here we are, brainwashed, and like everyone I am at the gym daily and counting calories / protein.
