I really assumed he'd stand up, and still remember my disappointment when he didn't. I wonder if there was more filmed that got cut, to justify the scene even existing like you say...it really serves no purpose as is. Still love it, just wish we saw more.

The F.F. movies were all about Evans for me.
I could never get into the guy who played Mr. Fantastic - he looked too much like Bob Geldof to me.

I 100% agree!! They really could've showed him getting up and staring out the window or smth and just show his ass from the side!! And im sure that it was maybe cut!! Too bad we'll never see any bts from this or anything like that which sucks! And im wondering how come they showed Michiel Huisman'ass (which i appreciate) but not Chris?? So its not like they didnt allow any nudity in the movie! I just hope we get to see him naked again in these future films he's making right now

I just went back and watched the scene again and there does seem to be a slightly abrupt cut between him sitting up in bed and the next scene where he's walking around outside, so maybe there was a continued shot where he does as you suggest which was edited out. It is a bit odd and frustrating. I mean, lets be honest here, the majority of nudity in film and TV is for titillation of the audience not plot, especially when you have an actor who's known for their looks like Chris is. There's a reason why that "For The Plot" thing became a meme lol.

I'm not Chris (duh!) or an actor but just from my perspective, I wouldn't be up for essentially having to expose myself to a crew of people unless there was a predetermined reason for it I.E. it was in the script or agreed upon by the director that it would be a nude scene/shot. I'd just be like "Can't I just wear some boxers or something?" It's like @1bats said it serves no purpose to the film or the scene the way it is. (Not that I didn't enjoy the shot regardless!)

Yeah, exactly!!! I wouldn't feel comfortable either! And again, It was weird cause like why not go all the way since that shot happened, right? Who knows if there was actually a continuation to this scene or not? We'll never find out sadly!
