Hoping we see his butt in this or The Materialists but that's definitely the most he'd ever do, and even that's a stretch. The only time he's ever done "nudity" is Not Another Teen Movie and his butt was like 90% covered. He's used doubles for everything else or been conveniently covered to show absolutely nothing. I get the vibe that he was raised religious or something and isn't very comfortable with showing off his body, which is hilarious considering "pretty boy" has been his brand for his entire career.

Religious/conservative men don't register the parts of their body that aren't "the naughty bits" as nudity or immodest the way women do though so him being religious and taking his shirt off in the marvel movies aren't mutually exclusive. I don't think he is prudish. I was all about Marvel keeping actors in no nudity contract for PG friendly movie franchise. Now that he is out of contract I guess clothes will come off.
That's never been a thing about Marvel having no nudity. Chris Hemsworth has been nude in an actual Marvel film. So has Kathryn Hahn (series). Sebastian Stan (full frontal), Benedict Cumberbatch (full frontal), Tom Holland, Anthony Mackie, Chris Pratt, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston (full frontal), etc... have all done nudity while being under contract with Marvel. The reason Chris Evans hasn't done nudity is he's mostly been in PG-13 films, which don't have nudity. He did have side nudity in "The Red Sea Diving Resort" and he was going to be nude in "What's Your Number" in the scene where they jump into the river, but Anna Faris had requested a body double/stunt person for that so Chris did as well. Apparently it was a buddy of his. He also had auditioned to be in "Milk", the role had nudity, but it went to James Franco instead.
Wow, I really wish he’d gotten that role. I can’t stand Franco and it would have been nice to see Chris play gay.
That way also I feel he is okay with nudity and not prudish. He needs to get opportunity to get naked.
Also good looking people come with perceptions of being non actors from casting agents and directors. How Sebastian stan manages big budget films with edgy arthouse films with nudity, not many can achieve.

These days, male nudity is pretty common everywhere. Most actors have been naked on screen or at least shown their butt. It’s often a way to show a character’s sense of freedom. Chris has done it before and might do it again. But now that he’s almost 44, I’m not sure how natural it would feel.
He's had lots of opportunity to get naked though, like Michael Huisman costarred with him in Red Sea Diving Resort and was naked multiple times in that. Meanwhile there's a scene where Chris wakes up naked in bed and he's conveniently covered by sheets that hide even his ass from the side. I really do think it's just a him problem. Why else would he have had a butt double for What's Your Number, which came out after he was already a sex symbol because of Fantastic Four?
Chris has been working for much longer than most of his marvel co-stars and yet he's gotten naked less than literally every other Avenger. It's hard for an actor to make it to 45 having never done nudity, especially one who has worked steadily since 1999. It's clearly his choice.

Michiel only had one nude scene in that film and Chris did show side ass. Trust me I watched that scene hundreds of time. If you want to see there are multiple posts in this thread. It's extremely quick, but it's there. The butt double was because it was a stunt. Also, Anna Faris had requested a body double/stunt woman for her scene.
Chris has mostly done PG13 films which don't have nudity. The rated-R films he's done haven't really had a place for it like Snowpiercer. That said, do I hope he's nude in the upcoming Honey Don't? Fuck yes. I hope he's nude in Materialists too, but haven't heard if there is any nudity in that.
