Disney are strict no matter what, if you’re representing the Disney name, then you have to meet their standards. And Chris wouldn’t have had much negotiating power when he first signed on as Cap.

Disney’s squeaky clean image means that even the fox stuff they’ve brought probably won’t have Disney’s logos, to hide the relation

Of course Disney has a clean image but Marvel doesn’t fit in that bracket. Even them using the words “shit”, “ass”, etc breaks them from that image. There’s a reason you don’t see a Wonderful World of Disney intro before the Marvel logo at the beginning of the movies, you only see Marvel and Paramount. Disney owns most of what you see on TV even if you don’t realize it and all of their divisions have different standards, it’s not the same as working on Disney Channel

Fair but I meant in that Captain America is squeaky clean. Sebastian Stan has had raunchy sex scenes galore and Anthony Mackie is blowing up bodies in Altered Carbon, plus Chris Hemseorth has that fake bulge scene. It was more about Cap that had Chris be more rigid and clean than Disney or Marvels contracts

Unfortunately I don’t believe the Marvel division has as strict of measures as Disney’s typical companies. That division isn’t focused on children, otherwise I don’t believe they’d have Scarlett involved considering her nudes were a big deal in the past. So I don’t believe his reluctance is with a contract

I saw an interview where he mentions that he was willing to do that stuff more in his early career. But we’ll never forget the movie that made us all appreciate banana splits a little bit more

I think this is more likely, and what we see in photos now just reflects who he is now.

Personally I think he was always a good boy. He was a good boy with a bad boy look. You know, like he has a sweet personality but has the looks of a seductive deviant. I definitely believe that it could be either or when it comes to the change. It could’ve been because they didn’t want him typecast as a sexual deviant. And we all know the types. The hot actors who are hot but are either stupid or just get hired for their looks and have no talent. Or it could be because he did indeed grow out of his “hoe phase” lol. We’ll never truly know. But he has had a nice glow up. and I definitely hope that he continues to grow and change and also step out of the PG-13 roles and starts doing some more Rated-R parts.

Because it’s sort of both, they have contracts that stipulate the things they can/can’t do that affect their image as front runners of their studios but you’re right it’s not Disney Channel. I will say that Star Wars actors are held to a more rigid contract tho than marvel.
