If you watch the movie the shot is from pretty far away, through water and movement and as I have been in a loch in Scotland its cold as fuck in the water and out of it, plus with the angle i actually feel it might be bigger than what we think we see. Its an optical illusion. Besides it looks bulgy as fuck, at one point when he turns sideways you can see a nice outline.
