I don’t follow his personal life. I just assume most churches are homophobic. Why don’t Catholic celebs get the same level of backlash for the churches they attend? Why is Pratt the only Marvel star that gets called a homophobe when Simi Liu actually compares gay people to pedophiles?

Has Chris himself ever been called a homophobe though? To what are you referring?
Also that entire backlash was bc he attended a Hillsong church with homophobic policies. He got "hate" for that not for himself doing anything bad.

I'm not going to debate that issue but let's not act like it was based on nothing. That's not fair. I don't think he is homophobic but it's plain to see why some make that assumption.

Also Simu did get a lot of backlash on twitter for that (although his intent was not homophobic) so I don't get why you want to give Chris all the benefit os the doubt bht have zero nuance for the Simu situation. Okay dude. Lol.
