Circumcision Styles? Post pics

I’m not sure how mine would be described…? But here are some fairly close up pics for someone to tell me…
It’s hard to say without seeing it soft, but it looks like a fairly high, fairly tight circumcision.

It looks like your scar line is about an inch or so behind your glans, giving you a pretty sizable about of inner skin, which is what makes it fairly high.

And it looks like there isn’t any wrinkling or bunching of the skin on the shaft when you are hard, though it looks like you still have a enough skin that you can still grab it and jerk it on the shaft without lube, so fairly tight but not too tight.

Thanks @PermanetlyBareKnob !!
Here are some pics more flaccid.
I definitely have some extra skin on the underside that I can slide back and forth even when hard, which feels great, but not really on top. So maybe “high and tight” on top but “high and loose” underside?? (Just trying to learn the lingo!)

High vs low and tight vs loose are just an approximation of a couple of axes that circumcisions can vary. Most of the other variations don’t get as much discussion or specific naming. For example, you can have different tightness on the top and bottom. The scar line can be perpendicular to the shaft or it can follow the angle of the glans. The frenulum can be removed or left in place. Different circumcision techniques can produce different kinds of scars, like the characteristic brown ring of a Gomco clamp.

Has anyone ever come across a style of circumcision that removes only outer skin? Specifically, removing enough of the outer skin nearest the base of the penis to expose the glans and inner skin? Everything else (frenulum, rigid band, ect) would be untouched. Theoretically, given enough time, this hypothetical style could be restored to an uncut state. As only outer skin was removed, almost all of the sensitive nerves would be preserved. Anyone?
Yes, in South Asia (Bangladesh) this culture was predominant but usually be done by a quack but highly skilled in the circumcision regard. They would cut off about half an inch or so and then fold the rest just under the glance. It would be common among 40 years and older as of 2026, because the newer generations wouldn't undergo this procedure even though it is far better than the medical procedure in terms of sensitivity. The band would have still sensitivity intact and a possible full restoration (almost) if wanted.
