circumcision

I was circumcised at birth however mom wanted me circumcised and dad didn't. So my mom requested I be circumcised just enough to expose the glans. so I was circumcised very loosely. I didn't know one. way could request a certain way a circumcision to be done. i figured if they wanted you circumcised you were and that was it no certain way. So my question is has anyone else had this happen to them or request there son be circumcised a certain way.

Circumcisions are like snowflakes or fingerprints: no two are exactly alike. There seems to be a weird (mis-)understanding, especially in the US, that foreskin is a defined "thing" and circumcision is therefore a defined "thing". But since it's all just variable penis-cutting, looseness depends on the operator as well as the instruments employed.

Lots of parents have asked that their son be cut a little on the loose side; that concept has been around for decades. And quite a few guys here on LPSG have noted their loose circumcisions... maybe some at the request of parents and some at the preference of the doctor.

I know two brothers who were born in different cities. One Houston and the other Atlanta. The one born in Houston has a tight circumcision and the one in Atlanta is loose. I guess it was a doctor thing as I know the parents and they had no say so except to give permission to have them circumcised.

i don't know much about this. But i'm glad that my parents thought it was right to choose if i wanted to get circumcised (as an adult of course.)

I don't think i've really heard of it. It's more than likely down to the surgeon, the NHS over here for example generally do loose cuts but i've known guys done on the NHS with tight cuts say if it was a muslim doctor etc

Yes you can request a loose cut. You just have to go to a doctor that cares enough to do so and knows how to do it. I asked for something moderate for my child

It's really not that physiologically possible to be precise on an infant.

Based on the circumcision scars of some of my friends, infant circumcision is basically a crap-shoot no matter what method is used.

Circumcision of a newborn is a violent and perverted act. People get sent to jail for perpetrating lesser acts of perversion and violence against children.
