I would suggest starting with a basic leather adjustable cock ring. Very inexpensive (under $5 or so), being adjustable you don't have to worry about an exact measurement, goes on - and more importantly perhaps - comes off quickly and easily, comes in various widths (mine are 1/2" wide up to 2"), and make your erection and orgasm amazing.
