Comic fans here?

You'd think in a big dick group like this... when somebody brings up comic books... everybody would mention Patrick Fillion's work?

Naked Justice, Ghostboy, Space Cadet, The Cube, ...

Anybody ever heard of them?
You don't know what you're missing... look for Patricks homepage; his comics are well worth it.

Welocme Aquaman. It's cool to know that someone new is joining the ranks that has a sense of humor!! And don't wory, Aquaman is alot cooler than Manta. As for the DC?Marvel debate.. Holy crap do we have to bring dissention into everything guys? Read what you read and enjoy em.

Cut me some slack please. I just woke up hungry..LOL

I am just stoked there are others out her that get into em. I am also stoked about all the movies coming out that are based on Comics (We can only hope that they won't be like Daredevil!!) So Far I hear its Thor, Iron Man, Ghost Rider, Wonder Woman, Batman and Fantastci Four (come on!!, this one will be better!)

And yo, Aqua..Thanks for filling in your profile. Lately that has become my pet peeve..getting a note from someone that asks for my life story then I go out to their Profile and it say says MALE.

Okay, I have ranted enough. I blame the lack of food!! Welcome again. Drop a note if you ever want to talk about comics.

Thor (aptly enough)

As a kid I was a huge X-men (Claremont-Byrne, Cockrum, Lee, Silvestri), Teen Titans (Wolfman-Perez), Legion of Super Heroes (Levitz-Giffen) fan.

Like Matthew-I have read pretty much most characters in the Marvel and DC universes.

That's probably because not everyone is 100% gay here...

I'm a bit "team book" fan myself... have runs on Avengers and JLA that go back decades...and I have the complete Levitz run on LSH.... sometimes think I'm the only one left who read that one... I'm still amazed he was able to juggle so many characters and develop their unique personalities and storylines... primo stuff!

Amazing, Aquaman! You're reading the exact same comic books I am! Could that be because the comics you're reading happen to be mine?

Stay out of trouble, +B. Welcome to the boards.

Did you read the '30-something' LSH series about 15 years back? LOVED that.

I wish every busty, six-foot tall woman would walk around in star-spangled panties! Wonder Woman rocks.

Besides, it gave me a dorky-ass screenname. Guy-ana Prince? :biggrin1:

I love anything that starts with "Ultimate" I have a pile of Ultimate Spiderman/Avengers/Fantastic Four/X-men and Ultimates 2. The original Ultimates was awesome and got me hooked. I also liked the Civil War comics and the great recent Iron Man series (like Extremis) that I assume are in trade now.

I'm not a huge fan of the Omac or Year One sagas, so I've shied away from DC lately. The new JLA looks promising though. the Justice series was awesome and had the best artwork I've ever seen.

My favorite titles are The All-Star Squadron, Avengers and X-Men from the 80's. I also like the 70's Iron Man, Captain America, Avengers, Batman and Human Fly. I am really not a fan of pre-70s comics since the stories and artwork tend to suck.

I cannot wait for world war hulk series to come out! By the way welcome to lpsg.
