I'd love to know who wrote/directed it, too. Conan could probably do it. It's clearly filled with very personal touches. Filmed in Texas. We can speculate on how much is "real" but I really have to commend both of them. Corey going in for the kisses and their activities throughout the whole video are magnificent acting. They both told a wonderful story. With no dialogue!

oh! he shouted out the director on IG! her name is Danica Arias Kleinknecht! @moonshynin on ig. I would guess Conan was the one who had most of a hand in conceptualizing it, he does in a lot of his music videos. I need more actor Conan. Maybe like before FH he learned to dance, before WB he learned to act. But he had a lot of personal experiences to draw from lmao

I see this being almost a concept album. He's laying the foundation for a story arc with Will and Brando. Really, really hoping their story is in every music video for this. Also really hope he and Corey are an item. It'd just be so wonderful watching those two living a young queer life together.

The person who posted this thinks they're dating so they probably held onto this for a while to respect their privacy. I appreciate how Conan's fanbase is about this cause it makes things like this this feel so special when they surface

Y'all are still listening and watching the video right? I didn't read the Insta captions and correctly guessed it was shot on film and that made me happy.

Thanks to Coneworld's prompts I also remembered the thing I loved most: all those darting looks they give each other. Is that not a gay rite of passage when you're still figuring yourself and other boys out?

Conan as my favorite artist right now seemed to come out of nowhere, but I think he makes perfect sense now. I try to apply meaning to just about every interest I have, and Conan injects SO MUCH MEANING into every aspect of his music, his public persona, everything. He's perfect for a neurospicy fanbase.

Yeah, people have been pointing out how it was always Corey who initiated in the music video and Conan almost couldn't believe it was happening to him. It tracks based on what we know about his life and how long it took for him to become comfortable with that part of himself. Like he's literally shocked love is happening to him after seeing it happen to other people for so long. There's so many layers to what we saw and it was only four minutes.

People used to laugh when I said he'd be a good actor but this proves it, I've seen nothing but praise for the video. It's beautiful.

omg I think mine is that they're literally sharing clothes through the whole thing. the olive tank top corey wears at the beginning on the bikes conan is wearing at the end, the white shirt corey throws at conan he is wearing on the swings, conan's jersey even though he doesn't technically wear it in the mv ... maybe more idk but it's cute
