Yep. He comes from a wealthy family. I think acting is more of a side fun project for him. If he becomes a big star, great, if not. He's still rich lol.

His 30 minute scene in episode 5 of Monsters was absolutely brilliant. He’s not coasting. He’s not just having fun. It can be a fun side project and still be serious. No one is doubting his hard work, but he does come from privilege and is extremely well connected, so much so. He can be picky about projects and be patient. Many actors are not afforded that opportunity and so will take any acting job they can land to pay the bills.

There are many serious actors out there and work as hard, especially minority actors, but unfortunately will likely not get the opportunity to showcase their talent. Hollywood is all about luck/timing or being well connected, such is life in general.
