Country boys

I used to do rodeos when I was a kid. Did competition trail riding later on. Found it to be too boring though. Now I just take the horses to different places and go exploring. They love it. (and the horses seem to love being in parades!)

Any other country boys on here, guys that are into hunting and fishing or live on a farm? Let's hear from you, and if you'd like to chat, pm me for my Skype name. I'm a country boy that likes to drink beer, hunt and fish. I'm easy to get along with and enjoy talking with dudes. Mostly straight, but have messed around with a few buds. Would love to find a bud to chat with an be friends.

Grew up in farm.... But I'm a city boy that knows how to hunt fish and milk a cow. :)

It was fun growing up country. Like Dottie West sang, "I was raised on country sunshine.". In the summer, you wore shoes to church, the store, and to houses of certain friends of your parents. Your feet would get so tough, you'd yank out a big sticker or get stunk by a bee, and keep right on going.

Raised in the city, by grandparents who grew up on farms during the Great Depression. Friends with a farm tell me I'm the only friend they have, city of country, who actually remembers to close a gate if I open it to go through it. *g.*

My girlfriend, now, is country. She's the horsy one, who used to teach riding and all.

These days, though, city life isn't all it once was. I wouldn't mind settling down on a couple of acres or so, out where I could hear the wind in the trees and not trip over my neighbors. A little cabin in the woods sounds increasingly good to me. (I'm getting more like my grandfather, the older I get...and that's a good thing.)

I'd like to be out on a farm the size my grandma grew up on. It was small for her family but 600 acres is more than enough for me. Put me out where I don't hear the neighbors yelling. I'd have a garden, laying hens, dog or two, some flowers, and if we could get my back fixed, a few horses or mules. Get me an old time buggy to go courtin'.

Country boy here as well. In my younger years, worked on a dairy farm, milked cows, pulled more than one calf, cut, raked, baled, and bucked thousands of bales of hay and straw. Made many a young bull into a steer, and many young boars into barrows. Cut the horns off many young cattle, cut the tails and teeth off of many young pigs, ringed the noses of many pigs, and to quote David Allen Coe, if that ain't country, I'll kiss your ass. I live in the suburbs now, but I'll get back to living in the country, still get to our property every chance I get, got our food plots put in a few weeks ago, yes I hunt and fish, and also just enjoy nature, I even have a pic of me getting ready to do some skinny dipping in the creek that runs through our farm in my profile.

Not a country boy unless you count living in a small town surrounded by country. I have lived in small towns, no towns and big cities. Much prefer the small towns. And like a post earlier, shoes come off first chance I get. Never wear them around the house and only put them on to go out.

Country here. Run a ranch, rescue horses, wrangle cats, restore cars, fix things, race, bowhunt, sharpshooter, and do it naked!

You sound like me!
I run a very small ranch, otherwise known as home. Rescue lots of cats and now have 2 rescue horses. Fix Jeeps and an LS powered Chevy 2500HD truck to hang with V8 gen 5 Camaro's.
I don't know if I can be in the club, I am more a well educated Red Neck. Because of a neck injury I can't hunt much. I don't drink much beer if whisky is around and I don't fish because the only thing fishy I eat is day old pussy.
If piercings count I think I can be in.
