Craigslist can be ok for casual sex... sometimes it's fun... sometimes not so much. Be sure to ask questions, set boundries, and let them know what you want out of it... Get pictures from them to make sure they are real, maybe a phone you can contact them at.
The biggest problem with Craigslist I think is those who lie about everything to try and get some (sex). They leave out important info... like what STD's they may be carrying... or that they haven't ever been tested, or the last time they were tested they were clean... back in 1985.
Be careful, and use protection should you decide to go screw (or be screwed) by random people!

i have met someone from craigslist before. a lot of shady characters are on there, and people like to play games. luckily i got a hold of a guy who didn't do that shit, and we've met about 4 times since january... we've had a lot of fun. just be careful. always ask for pics with verification. and unless you really don't care if you catch an std, don't do a lot of sucking or barebacking on the first meet-up.

I personally have met 2 ppl off CL. One in strictly platonic, the other in MSW. One I still talk to, the other I do not. The experiences were fun. I do not regret them. I don't recommend it unless you are safety minded & cautious. I personally don't go around answering just any ads. It's extremely rare when I do. Watch the boards for repeat posters & other ppl commenting on the ads in the Rants & Raves section of CL. I have seen ppl post ads (w/pics) seeking unsafe sex partners in one section & safe in another. Lovely. You never know, though.. You may find you something special there. Just be mindfull.

Ive checked for people on craigs list like that, the only problem is, when ladies wrote back , they were like response from fake profiles, telling me to go to a particular link on a website to view their pictures and to sign up to the website...No way...thats like some automated scam, so how do you find REAL people on Craigslist, and how do you know whether they are real , or they are automated fake ads on there that just lead to porn sites?
