There's no 'outing' someone if it's A) not actually true or B) a rumour that is commonly known in your area but maybe not internationally known.....
A rumour is just a rumour.... anybody could say that player XYZ is gay, but without proof or admission, its just a rumour and will not actually 'out' them.
