Technically, I agree. It started out as non-monogamy. He wasn't interested in sex, and I needed it. So, it made sense to have partners and situations that didn't include him. Then one of my partnerships got deeper, and with that partner I was involved in a lot of swinging. When I ended that relationship I intended to return to monogamy with my husband, but I couldn't do it, because I had come to the conclusion that he wasn't really attracted to women, let alone me. So the couplehood came to a close, though the legal marriage is financially beneficial to us both, and is maintained. I encourage him to explore his same-sex curiosity, which he does, though I like to be spared the details. He tries not to interfere in my love life, though the fact that I have moved on and think he's gay is painful and shocking to him. We try not to rub it in each other's faces. We still take care of each other like family, and when anyone hurts that sweet man, especially his parents, I'm at his side like a mama bear, all claws and fangs. I love him fiercely. But the marriage itself is over, just not on paper, for now. Technically, very technically, I would consider this cuckolding. But it is not what most people mean when they bring it up as a thing. I was never what you'd call a "hotwife".
Surely I can't be the only person that is cuckolded in reality?
