New to this site and finding it pretty informative, its interesting the combination of people who hang out here and all seem to get along pretty well. I am a married "straight" guy in Canada but have been a bit curious for the last while, never acted on it but feel like maybe I am getting closer to that point? Not sure.

For me, it really depends on the context. For example, here, on an internet forum? A curious guy isn't really obstructing how other people can use this space, and questions like your's open opportunities for dialogue on important ideas. It's a little different in physical spaces that are explicitly queer, like gay and lesbian bars, certain parties, and neighborhoods, etc.
But here on LPSG? You're not taking up space that isn't yours to use!

Because I, like many guys in their youth, tried to conform to a straight lifestyle by doing things I am not proud of. Plus I have always had straight male and female friends and people often confide in me so there's that too.
