this is the subsequent english version from my previous post song...
it's performed by a group of 3 singer women from trinidad... at the southern end of the antilles/west indies arc...
this is this version I heard first... in fact well before the original... that I've only discovered several years later... lol
I still prefer this version so far... but I' ve gradually learned to appreciate the first version... which is somewhat experimental it seems to me... as if the singers and musicians were looking for a new way to do music at that time... an attitude which is less the case for the more colourful and luminous english version...

according to what I perceived from the english lyrics... my spoken english is even weaker than my written one... very sorry, my lpsg fellows... it seems to me that it's the same general idea in both songs... with certainly minor changes in the lyrics meanings...
