He's undetectable; obviously you are too ignorant to know what that means. Guess what? It's very easy to protect yourself against HIV, regardless of your sexual partner's status -- it's called PREP.
These anti-HIV attitudes are so grade school and SO 1990.

Clearly dealing with someobe with a lack of understanding so let me school you. First off prep doesn't 100% protect you from HIV every leading medicaland and sexual health organisation states that prep isn't enough and should be used with condoms. There are still a number of infections to be caught including super gonorrhoea which is still untreatable. Secondly he's undetectable yes so currently he can't pass it on, however he can still get secondary HIV. And if he catches it then he would pass that strain on which is immune to prep. To me and this is just my opinion if you have HIV and you are still partaking in unsafe safe it's a bit like if you stuck your hand in the fire got it burnt then decide, oh I think I will do that again.
You are not dealing with someone with "a lack of understanding." Nothing -- not a condom, not PREP -- protects you 100% from anything. That's a given. However, it's clear that if HIV infection is the worry, as it is for the great majority of people engaged in bareback sex, PREP alone provides a high level of protection -- 99%! Condom use is ONLY suggested to prevent the spread of other STIs, not as a "stop gap" to HIV infection because condoms are not 100% effective, either!
If two undetectable people engage in sex with each other, then as you say, "he can't pass [his strain of HIV] on", and neither can his partner. For your statement to carry any merit, you have to assume that he's fucking people whose status is unknown or who have untreated HIV, which is absolutely ridiculous. That sort of assumption -- that people who have HIV will fuck anything -- is part of the ignorance at the root of the anti-HIV attitudes you are espousing. Undetectable folk are getting regularly tested for HIV levels and other STIs two or more times every year, which is more than can be said for the great majority of people running around here with their noses up in the air looking down on those who are undetectable.

I find it baffling how people since the 2000's and now are still catching HIV and even people still dying of aids. There is a documentary out at the moment in the UK om the BBC as its 40 years since HIV and AIDS and as a community we haven't really learned much at all. Of course it's hot to watch.
