I don’t think they would have dated during the show’s main timeline. But there would have been a flash forward where Greg hands Katie $20 and she goes, “Greg!? See? NEVER doubt me! A mother always knows!” And Greg goes, “I know I know. But, remind me again why we’re paying for the wedding?” and we see Cooper and Oliver walking down the aisle. Haha. And then for the mother son dance, Katie dances with Cooper and he says, “I love you, mom” and Greg dances with Oliver.
Taylor and Trip have three kids and they’re all prodigies. LOL.
and Annakat is getting ready to start her phd program at UPenn for childhood psychiatry and Franklin is his finishing his master’s in something related to music at Carnegie Mellon and planning on moving to Philly to be with Annakat.
Doris’ ex-husband died but it turns out he never properly divorced her so she gets all the money and she and Angela decide to get together. But like with her ex-husband, Doris only had sex with her on her birthday.
And Katie and Greg accidentally got pregnant again and the new kids (they had twins this time) are around the age Oliver and Taylor were when the show started. “Greg!? We were THIS close! We’re poor, Greg. How many times did I tell you that a vasectomy was going to be cheaper than diapers!?”
but it’s OK. She’s the ceo of her own company, Greg finally wrote a book that actually sells because he writes an historical retelling of a revolutionary’s life a la 50 Shades of Gray, and is the chancellor of the school now, and Taylor and Trip live in the house across the street and help out. So they’re not really poor. Just Westport poor.
As you can see, I love that show and thought a lot about this. Haha.
