He very definitely could have a crappy agent but he also could be victim of another Hollywood problem for actors who have been in a tv series for a long time....TYPE CASTING....I have met Rene Auberjonois at a Trek convention. Some may not remember or know that in the original movie MASH he played Father Mulcahy, he said he was asked to reprise the role for the tv series, he turned them down and said that if he had taken it he would have gotten type cast like the actor that took it and never acted again....Daniel may have gotten type cast in that type of roll and is not getting any acting roll offers.... may be the time to start a proper only fans (full nudity) for sure...hope he does, seeing Daniel totally naked would be so hot...

I think he wanted a break. I remember an interview where he talked about how much the work takes a lot out of him and how he wasn't sure acting is something he wants to keep doing. But that was a while back.
More recently he's talked about not going to college because "I'm an actor" so I think he's trying to get work. He's got the talent so fingers crossed he gets something big. I'd say the whole "let me start TikTok and show off the bod" is part of a campaign to get more roles. Probably a pivot from snarky teen roles to leading man.
