Danilo borgato

fiz 2 perguntas pra ele numa live no tiktok.

That is sort of a given in modelling world especially for men.

If they want to be noticed and maintain their status they need to give in into the wants and desires of gay designers and photographers.

(long post)

Definitely! But the majority of them have no idea of what awaits for them. Especially in America where they arrive from foreign countries with everything paid by their agencies who will want that money back. Male modelling most of the time is not paid work so the only way for the models, who are all very young and naive, to pay their debts is through prostitution. For men.

Many of these models are straight and would never consider even kissing a dude. All the photographers and designers know this and so they grope everything they want and coerce the models into soft porn jobs that will not help them in their careers at all. If they complain they're blacklisted. Many of these young men are also lured into hard drug usage by industry insiders so they can fall into more debt.

Two years later is enough time for them to be considered too old or having outdated looks to get any kind of job. Even if they miraculously are able to pay their debt at this point they're too far gone and have been put through some really dark stuff. The few ones who can escape and go back home have made no money, are overworked, have severe eating disorders and were dehumanized by the industry. None of them have the power to fight back. Long story short: sex trafficking.

There are many gay photographers here in Brazil and I'd never thought these situations also happen here but why wouldn't they?

Some examples I find of successful brazilian models who got A LOT of work are Luís Coppini and Victor Dalcol. Luís, a straight man, is now doing gay porn on OF. Victor told me he almost made an OF page as well but didn't follow through because he knew he'd regret it. So after so much work these guys still aren't able to make a living. Marlon Teixeira and Francisco Lachowski seem to have accomplished a good life though.

Danilo never made it as a high fashion model and is now involved with online trading. Still there are half naked pictures of him literally everywhere. By his reaction to my questions it didn't seem like he had a ball.
