Considering the fact that there are major-brand models who are very attractive, but not as attractive as Darrell, I cannot help but speculate that Darrell might not have succeeded because he wasn't willing to please the agents like they may have wanted him to, if you catch my drift. Obviously, I have no proof of this, however there are quite a few models, including Mario Adrion, who have come out and said that in the modeling industry, it is not uncommon for designers, photographers, studio executives, etc. to elicit sex from their models. And if a model declines, opportunities become scarce. Once again, I'm not saying that's what happened to Darrell, but if Darrell wasn't willing to prostitute himself to the other men in the Industry, they could have very well sabotaged his chances of success. And it would also make sense why Darrell now chooses to sell his body online himself through OnlyFans. It's not imagination. These things really happen whether you want to believe it or not. People of power often abuse their authority and prey on people less influential than them. That is literally what the entire MeToo era was about. People coming out after years of silence because they were coerced into sex by people more powerful than them and if they refused, they were blacklisted and their careers would end before they ever had a chance to live. And even if they did go through with it, well, their careers would thrive, but they would always have to live with this dirty secret that affected them mentally. Hence, the excessive alcohol and drug-use in the Entertainment Industry. Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby are not anomalies. Sadly, these predators can be found all throughout the Chain of Command. They're powerful people with powerful friends who are rarely brought to justice because they have access to best lawyers money can buy and connections to judges, politicians and district attorneys.
As I said in my original post, I am not saying that this did happen to Darrell, but it does happen to others.
