I really like Davey and I think everyone should be able to do whatever they want to their body... but this isn't a good look. He doesn't have the personality for someone who would get something this drastic. It's not great for his modeling career, which is mostly brands that do not favor tattooed models and it's just strange. Why get a painful and expensive tattoo, especially your first one, that we know of in a place where you can't see it?
Who knows why they broke up but I could understand that something like this would irritate her because she, like any other conscious person in the modeling world would see this is a bad idea. Going through with getting the tattoo probably pissed her off because he didn't listen to her. If he was so stubborn about this, I'd imagine that it brought out other issues as well.
