On his podcast, he's said that he's really careful, because he's in a position of power, not to exploit the porn stars who are in his films. But he's also said that he sleeps with a lot of porn stars. So I mean... what gives?

i'm sure he has A LOT of stories about hooking up with the various stars/models. hopefully one day he will get it all out there in details.
if he's saying the ones that are in his films, that could just mean he doesn't hook up with the porn stars that film for his company, but still hooks up with other porn stars
i think he wouldn't be exploiting his stars if he had sex with them. there are other porn companies where the person who runs them has sex with the stars..
which can be seen as exploitation. it's no difference than a boss having sex with his employees. it makes those employees worry that if they stop saying yes, or if they say no, they'll lose their job
