If I'm not mistaken I first him refer to himself as Bi/Queer interchanging between the two in the early days of coming out. But, if I'm not mistaken, in his latest interviews he continuously calls himself Gay and occasionally Queer. It just seems like he's getting more comfortable bit by bit in finding his identity. He has previously mentioned he leaned more towards attraction to guys but still appreciated a dominant female -- which, let's be real, how many gays don't? We might not see a dominant female as sexual or anything lustful like that, but at least iconic in power, and it seems like that's what he's been experiencing the times he's mentioned his visits to Disneyland and seeing one of the Disney witches there.
I could definitely be looking way too into this and reading too much into his statements, as well as generalizing way too much here so don't take anything I say as fact. Also, though it's sometimes fun to speculate, sometimes I feel like saying let him choose: if he says "Queer", then Queer it is.
