David Laid

I think at this point in time and for a long time now he's probably just overwhelmed and burned out with trying to figure out what to post and trying to keep up with the whole social media scene.

Cause if you really think about it, between all of his social media platforms he has several million followers and with there being so much demand from this guy who, let's be honest doesn't have much going on for himself in his life to post about on a daily or even a monthly basis.

How many repetitive shirtless pictures, workout clips, and the same exact poses can he posts of himself before it all starts to get old for him after all these years.

His content is nice to look at but he has over 600 posts on his Instagram and it's basically the same thing over and over again, just like so many other fitness guys. At this point David has shown everything there is to see from him with the little bit that he has to bring to the table besides being involved with the gymshark thing.

I also think he peaked so so young that w/out abusing the gear he was on and re-inventing his social media profile, there really isn't anywhere for him to go.

He's had some muscle atrophy and hasn't really come to terms with the other side effects of age (significant hair recession, facial changes, injuries, new influencers, etc.)

Honestly, like you said, anything he would post now would pale in comparison to his peak and he's surrounded by guys that are doing what he did but better.

David changed a fitness generation, imo but has struggled to keep up.

Yep, there's always going to be fresh new faces that are just as hot (sometimes even hotter) that will blow some of these guys like David out of the water. And some don't even have to have millions of subscribers to do so.

Especially when the guys who are new to the scene constantly post on their social media platforms, have an onlyfans, or post videos of themselves prancing around in skin tight boxer briefs or taking a shower. That seems to be a thing a lot of these fitness guys are doing now.

Plus you have to constantly think of fresh new ideas to keep people interested. Just because you have several million subscribers doesn't mean they're actually looking at your content. Especially if you only post once a month.

Idk, I still think he has some superior features all together working more harmoniously than the majority of other inta bodybuilders. He's directing gymshark now so that's already going somewhere, I think he'll still grow his business more. He seems in a comfortable good situation and enjoys the fame of being a pioneer in new bodybuilding. He'll always have all that.

Jeff Seid went through the exact same thing a few years before David. The shelf life of an influencer is actually much shorter than they all seem to think, even if they build up millions of followers & a healthy ego. Look at all the millennial youtubers who faded into obscurity as soon as the algorithm stopped being in their favor & a new batch of tiktokkers came through...

Well guys like Jeff and David have really given all they can give to the social media world at this point. At least when it comes to fitness and showing off their body.

When David first started to become popular, if he had done bigger things on the business side of things back then like some older fitness guys (Christian Guzman, Bradley Martin, Steve Cook, Chris Bumstead) then there'd be more for him to talk about, promote and show off with each passing year.

But just like those older guys and even Logan and Jake Paul, you have to keep getting involved, adding new things, and topping yourself to stay above water in this game. Otherwise you'll sink it and get left behind.

And still people will like whatever the fuck he postes way much more than any other bodybuilder. He doesn't need to make an effort and he doesn't seem concerned either. Regarding his life, none of us knows what he has going on for him or not.

That I agree with you on. He could of made a pretty penny if he'd gone the way of the Tok instead of trying to make that lifestyle YouTube work (LOL)...that said I'm interested to see what he has coming out for the lifting CD for gymshark and how long he stays on seeing as their CEO is still pushing for inclusion

I don't think David will ever leave Gymshark unless he wants to. The CEO seems to adore him.

Well only time will tell. Cause as time goes on people change, feelings change, and what a person wants right now in their life may not be what they want a year from now.

No matter what I do wish him all the best but sometimes people find out that just because you're good friends and get along doesn't mean you would be good business partners.

Plus David is an image for Gymshark, and within time there's always fresh new faces that come along that are always ready to take over and replace that image. That's just the way the cookie crumbles.

I bet he's at least done worship sessions before. He did do multiple shoots with Bruce Weber after all...
Regarding this, I have said before that I know a girl he fucked with a couple years ago. She told me he was very into being adored/worshipped same as massages, things like that. I got hard just by hearing her describe it lol.
