Haha. most guys here are gay. and back in the day of the AIDS pandemic, we had a "day without art"---a tribute to the fact that a lot of artists are gay, and we were losing them.
So is it true? This fictional board is quite busy.
Are gay people more creative, or perhaps are creative people more gay?
And what does that say about creative straight guys like me?

Nice art, but you sound like an artist starving...for attention ;) .

There's a guy with a PhD who blabbers on about gay guys being in an artistic, progressive class that is needed to sustain metropolises. All bullshit, I think. Perhaps in history, gay guys were incidentally creative geniuses (Shakespeare, Da Vinci), but that hardly makes all gay guys artistic. And no, AIDS is not going to wipe out artistic culture, America is.

P.S. I'm gay, if anybody is going to get uppity about it.

i have come to use the term QUEER for myself.

i am not bi or gay...but i am unique and emotional.
i am a photographer,musician,and a painter/artist.

i am not homophobic about men or homosexuals.
which amongst straight guys is usually seen as the same thing as gay.

I don't give a fuck if you are gay, I'm actually not biased. For real not biased, not just politically correct.

and yes, I like whenb people look at my art. what artist doesn't? Isn't that what art is about? reaching people and making them feel things?

hmm I'm not sure if "fictious stories" is the right section to promote your art, smith2267, but seeing that there are already threats here which serve to search for... infamous people, I guess it isn't the worst either xD

Personally I understand too little about art, but I higly doubt gay people are more creative than the straight... ^^
