Wow! Debbie Harry, rock legend and independent film actress, had some fantastic plastic surgery! Who ever did the deed understood that Debbie's bone structure shouldn't be touched as it's something close to perfect. The result is just remarkable!

I saw her not long after the surgery and she looked HORRIBLE. I'm glad with time and healing she has had good results.

It would be stupid for her to do anything but restorative. I think a person is always entitled to the face they had when younger and I think that's what she wisely went for.

You know what really aged her? Nursing Chris Stein through years of pemphigus* while working full time with Jazz Passengers. Those years were hell on her. She changed dressings, administered IVs, was constantly in and out of hospital, and had to deal with a husband loaded with steroids, painkillers, and antibiotics.

*In pemphigus, autoantibodies form against desmoglein. Desmoglein forms the "glue" that attaches adjacent epidermal cells via attachment points called desmosomes. When autoantibodies attack desmogleins, the cells become separated from each other and the epidermis becomes "unglued", a phenomenon called acantholysis. This causes blisters that slough off and turn into sores. In some cases, these blisters can cover a significant area of the skin.

The disease is usually fatal because the number of open sores is so great that the body becomes overwhelmed by infections.

that's what this thread is about. a bit slow on the uptake i am.
she is a great person. my father knew her father back in new york.
her father was a good guy. i liked him. and debbie does look pretty good.
