You should take advantage of being young to recover your hair. Those treatments no longer regenerate hair when many years have passed since it was lost. The sooner you start, the better.
What works is minoxidil with finasteride.

From what I heard, they implant certain hairs from the back of your head that don't fall out the way the fronts do so after you get the procedure, those hairs stay for as long as you take care of them. But if your hair loss is mainly from medication, you should talk to your doctor about it first. That type of hair loss is usually temporary but if that's a medication you need to be on for the rest of your life, then yeah an implant might be your only option. I don't think shampoos are going to help with that type of hair loss
