Ngl, a little disappointed Derek is rumored as a halftime performer for the Turning Point "All-American" halftime show. I hope it isn't true.
I've seen a lot of announcements for it but all from accounts that have nothing to do with Derek or Turning Point, even a couple where he's suppose to perform with Mark at it. I'll wait until I see something official but if its true I'm blocking his ass.

An "alternate christian halftime show" funded by turning point USA that was founded by Charlie Kirk and now ran by his wife. They're doing this in protest of bad bunny performing for the NFL halftime show in February claiming he's anti- american which is bullshit. However it's only a rumor Derek and possibly Mark Ballas will be performing at it supposedley.
I don't think he's ever really been overtly open with his politics. I don't believe this whole thing is true because he hasn't posted about it plus a lot of the posters advertising him performing for it are all weird pro right accounts but they're getting a lot of engagement. This doesn't seem like something he'd attach himself too.
