Is there a way to activate my phone's mic and use dictation when in a conversation with someone?

You should be able to do this just with your phone's voice to type settings. If you mean leaving voice clips like in Whatsapp, we don't have that supported.

You can use 'voice typing' by pressing the Windows key + H

Now, here is what happened when I used 'IdeaShell' . It did the formatting . . . (Ignore the fact that I am showing a screen capture)

It sorted the shows, the appearances, etc. AI did. (But the other way . . . the list . . . was easier to look at)


This was not an endorsement of 'IdeaShell', just a way to show how dicatation could be affected.

I used to use 'Dragon Dictation' but before 'AI was here in the Universe'. I don't know how 'Dragon Dictation' works these days

The microphone isn't active when in conversation here and I can't figure out how to get dictation to work. I have that feature on and it works in other applications. Here, I get a notification saying it's not supported. Any suggestions on getting this Android phone to work like that would be appreciated.
