The CI chart shows different "types" of result from circ. Just wondering: are the differences based on anatomy, or doctor's technique, or both? Are there different methods of circ?

I'm putting the doctor in the hot seat on this. Their hands hold the blade and therefore, the resulting scar. I'm happy with my cut job but I've learned that for some, even being cut...still have some skin over the glands. To me, that's when circ. Is just a waste of a medicle procedure and a botch job by the doc.

I don't see why some guys couldn't reasonably prefer that. It provides some slack skin for masturbating (and maybe sex, although I don't know if it would make a difference there) and guarantees that they won't have trouble with excessively taut skin. For someone who doesn't really want to be circumcised but has a medical problem that necessitates it, I can see why minimal skin removal would be preferable.

Beyond that, there are also differences in the amount of inner vs. outer foreskin removed, and where the surgical line is made. I think those account for most of the variations people talk about, although I don't know the details.

Should clarify, I'm happy with my cut job but I don't think having an intact foreskin is disgusting or ruins the aesthetics. Cleaning it isn't an issue for the majority of any lifetime. But in the situation when the elderly can't take care of oneself, I'm glad there's no issue with somebody else remembering to retract and clean it for myself. Cheers to the professionals working with elderly and sincerely value their career.

Circ results are not just the doctor's doing. Each person scars differently. Each person has different skin elasticity and the "grower" phenomena which defines circ appearance when flaccid to enable comfortable erections.

For an adult circ, the suture technique as well as bandage are more important than for a baby circ (no sutures, no erections and minimal bandage since a baby circ heals so fast)

But in all cases, the person's body does play a big role. With identical suturing, 2 guys will have different circ scars, different skin colouration after the circ etc.

Mines completely removed no skin to pull up over my glands tho it does look and feel good

Correct, the best outcome in adult circs is the absolute minimum in sutures, a compression bandage and some method of controlling erections in the first 2 weeks.
