Hi,
How does a guy who wants to go on the DL find other guys already on the DL?

How does that work? Apps like Grindr are not as helpful...
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Will in San Diego

Downtown Hillcrest has a sex parlor, I'm sure you've been there. A lot of DL guys go there in the evenings. And then there is the typical ads like craigslist where they say stuff like must be discrete. just give out the vibe....they'll cum to you like moths to a light.

i find dl men all the time. im some sort of magnet. usually dl guys i meet have wedding bands. dl guys arent always cheating on a significant other though. i regularly meet with one guy who belongs to a church and is a very active member in it. i met him at student recruitment event for a campus ministry last month. (i go to these things to network, an some gay guy always manages to find me.) he cannot have other people know that he is gay. he is thirty-nine and pleasantly hung. He uses me to explore his body and fantasies. years of hiding and supressing his desire has made him very very kinky. i understand why he can't be outed becaue it would ruin the life he has built for himself. i foolishly respect his decision.

I know some of my friends have used Craig's List and Adam4Adam.

As for the "Down Low"/"Discrete" thing, it can be because someone is cheating (scuzzy piece of shit thing to do) or because they are at a job/in a life situation where it would strongly affect their life in a negative way if it came out they were gay (which makes me sad that this is an issue still).

There are lots of reasons someone may not be openly gay/bi, most of them are not "sleezy" or "dishonest".

Congratulations to those of you who are 100% out to everybody about your sexuality, but this is still an evolving reality for many, if not most, gay/bi people.

Have enough self-respect to allow yourself to move at your own pace, as long as you respect others in the process.
